Terms of Service Privacy Policy

Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of The Scrub Path website and the products sold on it. By using the site or making a purchase, you agree to them.

1. What The Scrub Path is

The Scrub Path offers a career-path assessment for nursing students and new graduate nurses. The free assessment produces a personalized result preview. The full career-path report is a one-time digital purchase. Optional add-on services (such as strategy sessions or roadmap packages) may also be offered; each is described at the point of purchase.

2. Guidance, not a guarantee

The Scrub Path provides career guidance based on your assessment responses. It is not a guarantee of job placement, career satisfaction, licensure outcomes, or income. It is not medical, legal, financial, or academic advice, and it is not a substitute for guidance from your nursing program, employer, or licensing board. Career decisions are yours, and outcomes depend on many factors outside any assessment.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to purchase from The Scrub Path.

4. Purchases and payment

Payments are processed by Stripe, a third-party payment processor. We never see or store your full card number. Prices are shown in U.S. dollars at checkout. After a successful payment, your full report is unlocked and a link is sent to the email address you provided.

5. Refunds

Because the full report is a digital product delivered immediately after purchase, all sales are final. If you experience a delivery problem, such as a report link that does not work or an email that never arrives, contact us at thescrubpath@gmail.com and we will make sure you receive what you paid for.

6. Your report and our content

Your report is for your personal use. You may save it, print it, and share it with people helping you make career decisions. You may not resell it, republish it, or use the assessment, scoring system, or report content to build a competing product. All site content, assessment questions, scoring logic, and report materials are the intellectual property of The Scrub Path.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to interfere with the site's operation, attempt to access other people's reports or data, probe or bypass payment or unlock mechanisms, or use automated tools to scrape or copy the assessment or reports.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, The Scrub Path's total liability for any claim arising from your use of the site or products is limited to the amount you paid us. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, including career or employment outcomes.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The effective date above reflects the latest version. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the updated terms.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Idaho, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information The Scrub Path collects, how it is used, and the choices you have.

1. What we collect

2. How we use it

3. Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run The Scrub Path:

Each provider receives only what it needs to do its job.

4. How your report is protected

Report links use long, unguessable tokens rather than sequential IDs, so your report cannot be reached by guessing a URL. Access to stored data is limited to what is needed to operate the product.

5. Cookies and browser storage

The site uses browser storage to keep your assessment progress and unlock status working correctly, and may use analytics cookies to understand how the site is used. You can clear browser storage at any time through your browser settings; doing so may require re-opening your report from the link in your email.

6. Data retention and deletion

We keep your information for as long as needed to provide the product and maintain purchase records. You can request deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing thescrubpath@gmail.com. We will delete it except where we are required to keep records (for example, payment records).

7. Age

The Scrub Path is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe someone under 18 has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date above reflects the latest version.
